Interagency Early Intervention Committee (IEIC)

Duties of Region 11 IEIC will include (MN Statues 125A.027 & 125A.30):

• Develop public awareness systems designed to inform potential recipient families, with children birth through age five, of available programs and services;
• Implement interagency child find systems designed to actively seek out, identify, and refer children birth to age five;
• Establish and evaluate the identification, referral, child and family assessment systems, procedural safeguard process, and community learning systems to recommend alterations and improvements;
• Assure the development of IFSP/IEP/IIIPs that involve cooperating agencies at all steps leading to individualized programs; and
• Facilitate the development of transitional plans when needed.
